- All rooms: baseboards, window sills, window tracks, closet floors and shelves
- Floors: vacuumed and mopped, including under furniture
- Walls: scuff marks and fingerprints removed where possible
- Garage: swept and cleared of debris
Important: Schedule your move-out clean for the day after your furniture is removed — not before. An empty space is much easier to clean thoroughly, and you won't have to work around boxes.

Pet accidents on carpet are one of the most common calls we get. And one of the most common mistakes: using the wrong product and permanently setting the stain.
What NOT to Do
- Don't use hot water — heat sets protein-based stains into carpet fibers permanently
- Don't scrub — scrubbing spreads the stain and damages fibers; always blot
- Don't use bleach — it discolors carpet and doesn't neutralize odor-causing bacteria
- Don't use steam cleaners on fresh stains — same heat issue as hot water
What Actually Works
Immediately blot (never rub) with clean white cloths to absorb as much liquid as possible. Then apply an enzyme-based cleaner — these biologically break down the urine proteins that cause odor. Let it dwell for the time listed on the product. Blot again, rinse with cold water, and blot dry.
When to Call Us: If a stain is more than a few days old, has been previously treated with the wrong product, or covers a large area, DIY approaches usually don't fully work. Professional extraction equipment reaches the pad beneath the carpet where odor-causing bacteria live.
